Mangaluru, Oct 3: A head constable who was working with Mangaluru City Armed Reserve (CAR) police died of heart attack on Tuesday, October 3.
The CAR head constable Somanna Gowda Chaudhary is the deceased person.
He was 31 and a resident of Vijayapura. He was working as a driver with a wireless inspector. Somanna Gowda took the inspector to hospital as the latter was suffering from dengue. After dropping off the inspector in hospital, Somanna Gowda went to park the car.
All of a sudden Somanna Gowda collapsed and was soon shifted to Wenlock Hospital where he was declared 'brought dead'.
He was married and was working with Mangaluru CAR since the last seven years.
