Mumbai, Aug 20: The Billavar Association organized a scholarship distribution programme for community students at Narayan Guru Auditorium, Billavar Bhavan, Santa Cruz (East), on Friday August 19.
Billavar Association president Jaya C Suvarna presided over the programme.
Entrepreneur Lalaji Shahaji and Mahabala M Poojary inaugurated the programme.
Association vice-presidents L V Amin and C T Salian, honorary treasurer Uday S Salian, and women wing president Jayanti V Ullal were present on the occasion.
Billavar Association education sub-committee president Bhaskar M Salian welcomed the gathering. Honorary chief secretary Jyoti K Suvarna compered the programme while Dhananjay S Kotian proposed the vote of thanks.
Scholarships were distributed to over 150 community students on the occasion.
