Udupi, Aug 4: Department of commerce, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal recently organized two momentous orientation programs for the 2023-24 batch of BBA and BCom undergraduate programmes.

Held at the prestigious Golden Jubilee Hall on August 2-3, respectively, the events received an overwhelming response from students, parents, and dignitaries from around the world.

The BBA orientation, inaugurated by top industry officials and certification bodies Kiran Punja, vice president HR Aptean as the chief guest and Dr Arugan Arjun founder and CEO Synergy wellness ventures, Dr Karunakar Kotegar, director international relations MAHE Manipal was the guest of honour. The guests congratulated the students on choosing Manipal, an institution of eminence as their destination to pursue BBA. Students were provided comprehensive briefings on academic aspects, examination policies, hostel regulations, and student welfare during the orientation.

The BCom orientation witnessed esteemed guests, Reetika Sood assistant director from EY and Dr Giridhar Kini, registrar, MAHE Manipal emphasized lifelong learning and problem-solving skills, while Dr Sandeep Shenoy head, department of commerce shared success stories of BCom alumni excelling in various industries.

Both orientations highlighted DoC MAHE’s commitment to nurturing skilled professionals and providing valuable internships and specializations for an enriching academic experience. Department of commerce, MAHE, Manipal extends its appreciation to all dignitaries, students, and parents for their enthusiastic participation, reaffirming its dedication to fostering the growth of future leaders in commerce and management.
