Kundapur, Jul 20: In a bizarre incident reported from Dabbekatte-Thekkatte area, a six-year-old girl who had walked in her sleep for three kilometres, was rescued by a staff of a bar and restaurant after midnight on Wednesday July 19.
The girl, resident of Korgi village, was found at around 2 am, standing naked below the name board of Swami Koragajja on Dabbekatte-Thekkatte Road.
At around 2 am, Vishwanatha Poojary of Archana bar and restaurant situated at Charkottige completed all the business and was leaving home along with the staff of the bar. He was shocked to see a six-year-old girl standing naked below the board of Swami Koragajja. He was confused as to what must have happened. After speaking to the child, he came to know that the child woke up from sleep and walked for three km without any knowledge of the route or situation.
The family members of six-year-old girl were shocked to see their daughter brought back home by the staff of the bar.
After the incident came to light, locals have highly appreciated the humanity displayed by the staff of Archana Bar and restaurant of Charu Kottige.
