Udupi: Trinity Central School celebrates International Yoga Day

Udupi, June 22: The International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21 at Trinity Central School, Perampally.

Nishka of Grade 8 articulated the importance of the day and elaborated about the uses, the functions and the results of practicing yoga.

A few asanas were performed for an hour by the students of grade 8 while highlighting their importance through commentary. This session was guided by Veena and Namratha.

In his message, principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo highlighted the need of yoga and asked the students to implement the practice of yoga in their daily routine.

Principal Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo, vice-principal and administrator Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao, academic coordinator Magadelina Lewis were present.

Preetham and Aislin from grade 8 hosted the programme. Unnathi of grade 8. Anushree of grade 8 proposed the vote of thanks. Students of Grade 8 handled the choir.
