Mangaluru: Guest lecture on 'Leadership Skills' held at Srinivas University's IPSSM

Mangaluru, May 19: Srinivas University: Institute Of Port Shipping and Supply Chain Management (IPSSM)–BBA- Logistics and Supply Chain Management & Port Shipping Management and Logistics organized a guest lecture programme on May 16.

The guest lecture session began with welcome note and introduction of resource person Prof Venkatesh Amin. Prof Nelson Pereira HOD-IPSSM was florally welcomed the guest.

Prof Venkatesh Amin, IMC, Srinivas University delivered a talk on the topic 'Leadership Skills' for the second year (Logistics and Supply Chain Management & Port Shipping Management and Logistics) students on May 16. Prof Venkatesh Amin made session very interesting by actively involving students in different sets of activities and made them realise the importance of team work, leadership and also enlighten them with the current logistics trend. This session was arranged under management association and student council under the support and guidance of Dr Sonia Noronha, dean-IPSSM and Prof Nelson Pereira, HOD-IPSSM by Prof Meghashree, course co-ordinator Port Shipping Management and Logistics and co-ordinator of Management Association and student council.

The session was really helpful and students expressed positive opinion at the end of the session. The welcome speech was given by Niranjana from II (LS) and vote of thanks rendered by Sagar H from II(PM). In the end of session, as a token of love and gratitude, a memento was given to Prof Venkatesh Amin.
