Kundapur, May 15: Soon after Udupi district became a part of BJP after the Vidhana Sabha elections, Kollur Mookambika Temple is becoming a promotion centre for 'The Kerala Story' film.
A flex banner with writings inviting people to watch 'The Kerala Story' film was found hung by unidentified persons outside the temple. It has become the talk of the town.
The banner states “Malayalee devotees welcome to Mookambika. If you want your generations also to be devotees of Ma Mookambika please watch THE KERALA Story”. The banner measures 10 feet x 8 feet.
Some of the devotees seemed embarrassed especially because nobody knows who hung the banner near the temple.
Kollur temple managing committee president Chandrashekar Shetty in his reaction over the phone said that the banner is outside the temple premises. “I have not seen it as yet. I will look into it,” he said.
