Mumbai, Jul 11: 'Idu Antaranga Suddi', the third Kannada anthology by Vivek S Shanbagh, a banker and poet, was released at a function held at Karnataka Sangh auditorium, Matunga (West) here on Saturday July 9.
The poetry book was published by metro-based Kavita Publications in association with Chukki Sankula.
Veteran poet and columnist Jayant Kaikini released the book.
Akshaya monthly Kannada bulletin honorary chief editor M B Kukyan and entrepreneur C V Kamat were the guests of honour.
Kavita V Shanbagh and Neil Raj V Shanbagh of Kavita Publications and Dayanand Salian of Chukki Sankulana were on the dais.
Susheela Devadiga rendered the prayers. Poet, researcher and critic Dr Girija Shastry introduced the anthology. G P Kusuma welcomed the gathering and Neil Raj V Shanbagh honoured the guests. Naveen Karkera compered the programme.
A poetry session that was held as part of the programme was presided over by Jayant Kaikini. Ganesh Kumar compered the session, in which over 20 poets took part.
Vivek S Shanbagh is employed in Bharat Co-operative (Mumbai) Limited as assistant general manager. 'Tattiraya Mattu Nanu', his first anthology was published in 1987 followed by 'Holedaddannu Helalilla' in 2002.
