Mumbai, Jul 2: In addition to a few film producers, it is learnt, producers of some reality shows also want to encash the publicity Maria Susairaj has gained with her involvement with the murder of Neeraj Grover. Even as Susairaj walked free from jail, having completed the stipulated jail term of three years for destruction of evidence in the case during the pendency of the case, and father of the victim, Neeraj Grover, announced plans to file an appeal, Bollywood and small screen producers are readying to extend a red carpet welcome to her, and make lucrative offers to get her nod to participate in their productions.

If sources are to be believed, producers of Bigg Boss are planning to approach her with an offer. The tinsel town is known to embrace everything that is controversial, unnatural or strange, in an effort to lure audiences towards them. Susairaj, a Kannada actress, was not well-known when she went to jail, but not so anymore. The producers know the people out there are curious to see Maria, understand her personality, and would love to see for themselves her vivaciousness that had enamoured two men, one who was killed, and the other, who has been sentenced. Because, the people have heard and read stories about her from the media, although mixed with masala, after she became a household name because of the ruthless murder.

The producers are aware that Susairaj, having been away from spotlight for three years, and having lost three precious years of her life, would be eager to make good this loss by trying to become famous as early as possible. Her desire to become famous had drawn her to the metro, anyway.

After allowing a time of a few days or weeks for Maria Susairaj to mingle with close ones and regain her composure and attitude, the production houses are expected to make efforts to lure her by offering large amounts. Even though the family of Susairaj had kept themselves aloof even during her stint in Kannada filmdom, and perhaps, will continue to keep a low profile even hereafter, Maria, the producers feel, might not be able to control the urge to make hay while it is day.
