Udupi, Apr 4: Tanushree Pitrodi, a student at St Cicily high school, has achieved a remarkable feat by performing 108 yoga asanas in just 3.29 minutes, earning herself a place in the Golden Book of World Records.
Her guru, Ramakrishna Kodancha, stated that these asanas are a part of Natya Shastra.
The representative of the Golden Book of World Records organization, Gaurav Mithal, presented the certificate of records to Tanushree during the event. Notably, Tanushree has previously achieved one Guinness record and seven records in the Golden Book.
Several notable personalities and Tanushree's family and fans were present at the event, including Karnataka State License Electrical Contractor's Association President C Ramesh, Badagubettu Credit Cooperative Society's Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Billava Seva Sangha President Madhava Bannanje, Secretary Anand Poojary, Venkataramana Sport Club President Navin Salian, Udupi District Licensed Electric Contractor's Association President Srikanth Shenoy, teacher Ramakrishna Kodancha, drama artiste and guide Balakrishna Shetty Nittur, as well as Tanushree's parents Uday and Sandhya, and sister Ritushree.
