Bangalore, Jun 29: A person, who was unable to handle the crisis caused by nagging personal problems, chose to end his life by hanging himself. Before ending his own life late night of Monday June 27, he fed poison to his wife, and two children. The incident occurred at Vishwapriya Extension in Begur, which falls under Electronic City police station limits.
Murthy (32), working for Mico Bosch in Adugodi in the city, his wife, Lakshmi (28), and children, Yashas (12), and Rohit (9), lost their lives together in this fashion. Before committing suicide, Murty had send SMS messages to his friends and relatives, conveying to them his decision to end life, and blaming himself for the mess. He also left behind a suicide note. Before sending messages to his close ones after 11 pm, Murty had come back home after the routine walk. Immediately after sending messages, he switched off his mobile, poisoned his family members, and then hanged himself.
The police personnel of Electronic City police station, who have registered the case, are investigating. They have recovered the death note left behind by Murthy.
Murty, who was recently transferred to the Mico Bosch unit in Adugodi from the main office, was seen to be aloof. He had turned an introvert since the past some months, and did not mingle with his colleagues there. Recently, he had built a house by raising loans, and his close ones believe that the decision to end life was taken because of his inability to repay this heavy debt. A couple of days before his death, it is learnt, he repaid small amounts he had earlier borrowed, to some creditors. Some of his relatives also claim that Murty used to confide with them often that he was facing harassment from the employers at his workplace in Adugodi.
