Mumbai, Jun 18 (PTI) The Cricket Association of Bengal today expressed its appreciation of BCCI's decision to allot it three matches during the home series against England and the West Indies later this year after it was deprived of the hosting rights of the India-England World Cup tie in March.
"Of course this is a good move (by BCCI). Last time we were deprived of our due match against England. It was an injustice done to the CAB," said CAB chief and former BCCI and ICC president Jagmohan Dalmiya here today.
The BCCI's Tours Programmes and Fixtures Committee met today and alloted the lone T20 International against England to the CAB to be held at Kolkata's Eden Gardens.
The Eden would also host an ODI against England in the best-of-five series and one of the three Tests against the West Indies in October-November.
