Kasargod: National Level Athlete's Daughter Looted of Valuables in Train

Kasargod, Jun 12: In a shocking incident, daughter of a national level athlete from Kerala has been looted of cash and cell phone among others on a train by a youth near local railway station and later was pushed off the train.

The girl has been identified as Mini Mozhe (26), daughter of Edukki Rajakkad Bhaskarn. She works as a clerk at the Allahabad Railway division office and was travelling in S1 bogie of the train. It is learnt that a youth snatched Mini's bag at the local station as she was asleep. Awakened by the incident, Mini chased the youth. However,  by the time the train stopped at local station and the burglars despite Mini's resisitance and scream for help fled away with the bag.

The railway police admitted her to general hospital as she was found collapsed at the local railway platform. The bag contained Rs 1,500, ATM card, cell phone and clothes, stated Mini. The incident occurred on Saturday June 11 at around 8.30 pm and a case has been registered in this regard.
