Mangalore: 'Makkala Mithra M S Clare' by K'taka Theological Institute Released

Mangalore, Jun 11: 'Makkala Mithra M S Clare' a reflective biography on a children's missionary was released at a programme at Bishop Jathanna auditorium, Balmatta here on Saturday June 11.
The book has been brought out by Karnataka Theological Research Institute (KATHRI), which also organised the programme.
Rev Dr H R Cabral, secretary, Karnataka Christian Educational Society (KACES) and chairman, KATHRI released the book.
Addressing the gathering, Rev Cabral said that Clare was an effective counsellor not only among children but also among the youth and families.
Rt Rev Dr C L Furtado, former Bishop of Karnataka Southern Diocese felicitated M S Clare on the occasion, in recognition of his service among children and senior citizens.
Rt Rev Dr J S Sadananda, Bishop, Karnataka Southern Diocese graced the occasion and in his message said that Clare had inspired many young children and young people to imbibe the message of Jesus.
Rev Dr Sadananda welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme was compered by Dr Charles Furtado.
Incidentally, the day also marked M S Clare's 75th birthday. The programme ended with the celebration of this milestone.
