Kasargod: Youth dies after accidentally slipping into water tank

Kasargod, Feb 7: A 21-year-old youth died after he accidentally slipped into the drinking water tank in school while cleaning the water tank in Manjeshwar on Tuesday, February 7.

The deceased is identified as Favaaz, a resident of Karoda in Manjeshwar. He was working as a driver for a private school bus.
On Tuesday, Favaaz along with another youth had gone to the top of the school building to clean the water tank. While cleaning the water tank Favaaz accidentally slipped into the water.

Though Favaaz was rushed to a hospital by the school staff and locals, he could not be saved.

Manjeshwar police have registered a case in this regard.

    Very sad.so young.How come he slipped during cleaning is not clear .Instead of rushing to hospital first aid should have given first immediately so that he could vomit the water out ?and keep warm first ?And same time could call a doctor to the spot to treat him or Ambulance.Heartfelt sympathy to his family .May his soul rest in peace.
