Mangaluru: CCB police arrest two for possessing, selling Ambergris

Mangaluru, Jan 8: CCB Police have arrested two persons for selling Ambergris worth crores of rupees. It is said that the accused possessed Ambergris and were trying to sell it.

The accused arrested have been identified as Nimith (26) from Guruvayanakere and Yogesh (41) from Punjalkatte.

Police seized 3.2 kg Ambergris, 2 mobile phone handsets worth Rs 3.2 crore. A case has been filed at Barke Police station.

It's not baby fishes but the sperm whale vomit which surfaces up after a long period of time and is supposed to be one of the costliest substance known!!

I doubt it's genuine ambergris as it's very very rarely found!!
