Mangaluru, Jan 8: Bhushan Rai, resident of Thokkottu Sevanthiguthu, who was seriously injured in an accident on Saturday night near the Kuthar temple has been declared brain dead by the doctors.
Following this, Bhushan Rai's family members have come forward to donate his organs.
After the accident last night, he was admitted to Yenepoya Hospital in Deralakatte. As he did not respond to the treatment, he was shifted to KMC Hospital, Mangaluru where the doctors declared him brain dead.
After 4 pm on Sunday, the family members of Bhushan Rai have agreed to donate his organs.
The deceased Bhushan had married just about two weeks ago and his father Marappa Rai had died about a year ago. Bhushan was living with his mother.

Mangaluru, Jan 8: A motorcycle hit a road divider after the rider lost control near Kuthar's Sri Rajarajeshwari Siddivinayaka temple injuring him seriously on the late night of Saturday.
Bhooshan Rai (20), a resident of Kerebailu Chembugudde is the rider who is seriously injured.
Bhooshan was coming towards Kuthar after attending a Kola programme at Kallapu Burdugoli. He was thrown to the other side of the divider due to the impact of the accident.
Bhooshan who was lying unconscious for some time was rushed to a hospital by five men, all natives of Kerala, travelling in an Alto car displaying an exemplary act of humanity. Bhooshan is admitted in a hospital at Deralakatte. The bike was badly damaged in the accident.
Mangaluru south traffic police have registered a case.
