Kuwait, May 29: Shirva Welfare Association Kuwait (SWAK)'s family get-together was held at Mesillah beach on Friday May 27.It was a fun-filled event where the members and their families had wholesome fun. The day began with a warm welcome by president Urban D'Souza followed by a prayer led by committee member Clifford D’Souza.
In the beginning a delicious breakfast was served to everyone. It was time for enjoyment as everyone gathered got involved with games. Variety of games and spot prizes were organized for all age groups as men, women and kids enjoyed every moment of the day. Time off at the sea shore/swimming pool thrilled the kids and adults alike.
A grace before meal offered by Anil Menezes was followed by deliciousfood served by Royal Plaza Catering Co. Housie-housie was conducted and later prizes were distributed for all winners of games and spot prizes.
More than 100 members and their guests participated even though the temperature was high. The fun get together concluded with thanks giving words from Anil Menezes and takeaways were given to each family, sponsored by Herald D'Souza, managing partner of Spinn Confectionary, Kuwait.
SWAK is thankful for all the donors and members who contributed for the success of the programme.
Congratulations to SWAK Community in Kuwait. It is a joy to see that you all come together to show the family Spirit and to show the sense of belongingness and unity. It is very much requiered that you come together once in a while to share joys and happiness so that you also forget the worries and work tension .I appreciate that you meet more often together with your family members to such sharing sessions where we can support appreciate and encourage each others.Keep it up. well done beautiful photographs.Urban you deserve a big hand it is your ability to organise such getogethers .Hats up to Urban and to entire SWAK family.
