Bagalkot, Nov 1: “Karnataka saw highest corruption when Siddaramaiah was the chief minister. So he is the most corrupted CM. All the documents of corruption that took place during Siddaramaiah’s rule are submitted to Lokayukta. He will not be sent to prison now as he will secure bail during assembly elections. So wait and see. However, it is sure that Siddaramaiah will be sent to prison soon,” said state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Speaking to reporters, Nalin said, “People feel that CM Basavaraj Bommai and our government give respect to all communities. In addition, all schemes of BJP are reaching commoners. People also have high esteem about former CM Yediyurappa.
“Congress accuses BJP of 40% commission government in order to downplay the pro-people schemes of the BJP government. We have the files of corruption that took place during Siddaramaiah’s rule. They have gone to Lokayukta.
“It has come to light that Siddaramaiah took Rs one crore cheque when he was in power. There is evidence also for the same. Three more cases will also come to light. Let Congress give document of BJP’s corruption, if any, to the Lokayukta,” he said.
