M'lore: City-based Senior Advocate’s Law Book Illustrates Real Events in Court of Law

Mangalore, Apr 27: A book titled ‘Kanoonina Padaragalu’ (meaning: layers of law) authored by city’s senior advocate and Karnataka State Bar Council former vice-president Thonse Narayan Poojary will be released at a programme organized at the conference hall of Shree Manjunatheshwara Law College, Mangalore on Saturday April 30 at 4.00 pm, informed Erya Laxminarayan Acharya at a press conference held on Wednesday April 27.

The real events that tend to occur at the court is illustrated and professional experience of the author is presented in a detailed write-up, he informed and added this is a kind of first time venture by an advocate to explain the happenings in court of law.

H N Nagmohan Das, Karnataka high court judge, will release the book. Justice Abdul Nazeer will preside. Justice B V Pinto and additional attorney general K M Natraj will be the guests. Bharath Samskrithi Pratishtana chancellor, senior litterateur Erya Laxminarayana Alva will speak about the author and the book.

The programme will be held under the joint auspices of Academy of General Education, Manipal and Govinda Pai Research Centre, MGM College, Udupi.

T Narayana Poojary, Erya Laxmi Narayana Alva, advocates Parameshwar Jois, Yashodhara Karkera and Shashiraj Rao Kavoor were present.
