Byndoor, Sep 27: MLA B M Sukumar Shetty said that Rs 125 crore had been received for Byndoor's development.
“The needs of people should be brought to my notice,” he said. He was speaking after presiding over a progress review meeting and receiving grievances of people at Ambedkar Bhavan here on Tuesday, September 27.
“The needs of the people should be attended to immediately,” he said. He enquired about the progress of KSRTC bus stand work, 94C title deeds, horticulture, and animal husbandry.
“The departments should provide free injections for rabies. The PWD should look into the building of Theggarse school and submit a report for funds,” he said.
Farmer’s leader Deepak Kumar said that applicants for 94C title deeds are facing an insecure situation. “The officials should remain at Byndoor for one or two days in a week,” he said.
District urban development unit, Udupi project director Prathibha R Byndoor, taluk panchayat executive officer Bharati, district panchayat former member Suresh Battadi and Shanker Poojary were present.
Byndoor Town Panchayat chief executive Navin Kumar welcomed. Byndoor taluk tahsildar Srikanth S Hegde proposed a vote of thanks. Teacher Ganapathi Hobalidar compered the programme.
The minister inaugurated the new JCB vehicle of the town panchayat earlier.
