Time speeds on, the years have passed.
Since death its gloom, spread a shadow to cast.
In our home, where all seemed bright,
and took from us a shining light.
We miss that light, and always will.
His vacant place there's none to fill.
Here we mourn, but not in vain,
for up in heaven we'll meet again.
