Mom died 4 years ago today. I was privileged to hold her hand as she crossed to the other side.

Eternal rest grant unto her Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace.

Your arms were always open when I needed a hug. Your heart understood when I needed a friend. Your gentle eyes were stern when I needed a lesson. Your strength and love has guided me and gave me wings to fly.

Even though you are not here with me in the flesh,
I still have you in my heart and in my memories.
I love you forever mom.
