It brings back a day we’ll never forget
We prayed and prayed that God would have spared you
If just for a few more years
It was a sudden parting
Too bitter to forget

We lost a gem
Over the years you toiled unselfishly to give us only the best
There is a place in our heart which can never be filled
You meant everything to us,
Your smile, your warmth, your loving ways

Thank you for all you have done
For all the love you showered on us
We love you and we will always do
