And a cure was not to be,

So He put His arms around you

And whispered,” Come to me”

You suffered with courage,

We know not your pain,

With right to get you well,

But, all in vain.

With tears we saw you sinking,

We watched you pass away,

We tendered you with loving care,

But, could not make you stay.

If, tears could build a stairway,

And memories were a lane,

We’d walk all the way to heaven,

And bring you back again.

For each of us you did your best.

God grant you now Eternal Rest
