A month has passed since the sad day
When one we loved was called away,
Deep in our hearts you will always stay,
Loved and remembered every day.
God saw you were getting too tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered ‘come to me’.
We wish we could tell you
We love you and miss you,
Memories of you are so very dear,
Sweet memories of when you were here.
You went through many trials in your life,
But overcame all your problems with a gentle smile,
Shelter Her Lord in your Holy Land,
As we have surrendered her in your loving hands.
