Hardworking hands at rest

His nature was loving and giving

And to us who truly loved him, his memories will never grow old
Thinking of You Dad today
Silent tears we cry,
trying to pretend that we are okay

Before your eyes closed in death
you were concerned for the loved ones you had to leave behind
Needing answers as you longed for peace of mind
Your last spoken sentence came a few days later
You needed answers before going to be with your creator

It has been two years now
We are trying to pretend that we are okay
In heaven above is where you now live
With your dad, mom, brothers whom you loved

We wish we could tell you
we love you and miss you.
