The support, condolences, sympathies, started pouring in like
an avalanche, in multifaceted manner – personal visits to the family,
visit at the morgue at Fr Muller Hospital, Kankanady, visit to the
home of Fr Dolphy in Bantwal on 20th morning at 6.30 am when his body
was brought home for the last good bye, personal presence at the
funeral on 20th August at Paladka.  You comforted us on telephone,
mobiles, by sms, accompanied us with your messages on the internet
on the Daijiworld.com, by your letters, cards, flowers, seraphic Masses
and we can say you have done it all.

We thank our Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Fr Austin Peres,
and all other priests who attended the funeral and offered Masses
and prayers for Fr Dolphy and for us, Archbishop Bernard Moras for his
visit and letter, Archbishop Emeritus Ignatius Pinto.  We cannot fathom
the love and comfort received from the Bethany Sisters and Sisters
of Charity. Our heartfelt thanks go to the people of Paladka Parish.
They conducted themselves with such great love and dignity,
in all that was required for Fr Dolphy who was their pastor just
for about two and a half months, that it drew praise from all.

Yes, you have been one of those who offered your comfort to the
bereaved family that was plunged into deep sorrow at an unexpected
and so sudden a death of our youngest Brother Fr Dolphy.

Thank You, Thank You and a million times Thank You.
