You left for your heavenly abode
For you always believed in
The light at the end of the road

Your blessings from above
Daily guides us along
We yearn for your presence
Wondering what went wrong

Sorrow does burden heavily
On your sisters and brother
The loss of your presence
Pains the heart of our mother

At such a tender age
Why has our mama gone
Are the questions asked
by Simonna and Shaun

Though another can come and
Readily fill up your place
You our dearest Veena
Are very hard to replace
