Joseph Michael Lobo (29-09-1941 to 16-03-2021), aged 79 years, H/O Late Sylvia Veronica Lobo and S/O Late Julian Faustine Lobo and Late Seraphina Lobo

Has left for his heavenly abode in the United Kingdom (formerly a resident of Bejai, Mangalore) leaving behind his grieving family:

Dr Sandra Sunitha Lobo and Leslie B. I. Farias

Dr Shirley Savitha Lobo and Dr Prem Prakash Moras

Jeevan Julian Lobo and Nisha Lobo

Grandchildren: Kirsten Farias, Oliver Moras, Kathy Farias, Natalie Moras, Nathan Lobo and Joanne Lobo

He was a fighter and leaves the fighting spirit in us!

May his soul rest in peace.

We have very happy memories of having met and spent the evening with uncle in Shirley’s residence. Right through college days, uncle has been a great support, mentor and guide to Shirley. Santosh sends his prayers and wishes as well. Condolences to you all and prayers for uncle.

RIP Uncle Lobo. So sad to hear this news. Met you a couple of times at Shirley’s house in Southampton. You were such a sweet and pleasant person. Hats off to Shirley, Prem and kids who took such good care of him. May the family have all the strength to cope with the loss of the dearest soul. I’m sure he has left lots of good memories to cherish

Words cannot describe the loss of uncle Lobo which came in as a rude shock. A truly lively person with a good heart and someone who considered family first. He treated me as a friend and was my day long companion for walks, shopping and political conversations during my visits. He was a fighter all through to overcome any obstacles that were presented in front of him. Still remember the days when I used to wish him in his shop in Rajajinagar. Shall miss him for the remainder of my natural existence . RIP uncle Lobo..

Merlyn here. Shirley and I did our PUC in Mount Carmel College in 1989-90. That's when I met Uncle. I used to visit Shirley, stayed at her place too. Very charming family. Uncle would always make me feel at home. Aunty was very sweet too. Shirley and myself stayed in touch always. Later on in London, Shirley used to share pics of her family with the awesome food they cooked and Uncle would be in those pics beaming with the sweetest smile. Of course his health wasn't too good but Uncle spent quality time in their backyard. He used to love gardening. And had his hands full of vegetables. The entire family had a green thumb. Uncle has had his share of precious moments. Uncle you have showered love on your family and your beautiful daughters and son have cared for you immensely. You will always be in our hearts. We know you are happy above now. Do pray for your family to be strong esp Shirley who knows every pain you went through as you were staying with them. Miss you Uncle.

Have know uncle since MBBS days.very Handome,friendly and cheerful man.used to meet him in Vijayanagar,Bangalore when he used to take his dog for walk.The only picture stays in me his “SMILE”. Dear uncle,may you rest in peace. Have known uncle since childhood ! Have met him on several occasions (during Shirley n Sandra's bdy parties) I remember him as a friendly, cheerful n handsome gentleman ! He would literally bring my dad in for the children's party and make him feel at home- never let my dad wait outside for me. After years when Shirley / Sandra started sharing with us (classmates) abt his illness, posting his pictures during vacations, Christmas n so on....I gained such positive vibes looking at his ever gleaming smile, though pale n in pain !! The only picture that stays embarked when I think of uncle is 'His Smile' so soothing, so much in love with people around ! You are now in his abode, may God give you peace uncle🙏 You have left behind precious gems (yr children) and I'm sure they are a reflection of you and shall always make you proud !! Rest in peace uncle Joseph🙏
