Its a month since Meera bai, we called her Bayya, left us leaving behind all sweet memories of childhood. We were neighbors and spent time together in play, church activities at Pezar. It is hard to believe that such an active, hard working, affectionate person is no more with us. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Bai Meera has left behind sweet memories. She was the committee member of Kavita Fest organised by Kavita Trust in 2012 at the courtyard of Monnu Master's residence in Moodubelle. She was instrumental in arranging the volunteers for the day at every level such as inaugural, decorations, traditionally dressed women folks, stalls (books, CDs etc) at venue and lot more. She was a great motivator and supporter of Konkani as well as church. She was in touch with us and was encouraging students to participate in our various competitions.

May her soul rest in peach...
