Nine years passed and
Still you are missed each and every day
More than before
for you were, and still you are someone special
who meant more than words can say.

We believe death ends a life, but not a relationship
You live in our hearts forever
The angels are always near to us as we are missing you
To whisper in our ears
That you are safe in the hand of the Lord.

Sometimes I just sit quietly, thinking about you
Imagining your face and your voice ringing in my ears
Feeling your warmth and seeing your loving smile
For it is lovely to recall the happy times we had
When you played a special role
As a Husband and Dad and Grand Dad.

At this very special time I only wish you knew
You could have been with us
For some more time together
But I still have my memories
And since we have been apart physically
Spiritually you are in ourhearts day in and day out
Cherishing the sweetest memories.

Your legacy that is always there
To light the way for us the family, near and dear ones
As we miss you each day more and more,
As I picture you on the kitchen table
Or coming through the front door
Or sitting on the couch in the living room
Or on the computer playing solitaire
Or making all those shopping lists
or listing friends name to visit.

I miss your talks and the special way
You would always understand.
I miss the closeness that we shared
And how you would hold the grand kids hands
Our love is always with you.

Even though you left for heavenly abode
I find myself looking back daily
To so many lovely days
Taking trips on my birthdays.

The day you left us
Our heart instantly broke into two
I wish you could have stayed with us
But you had heaven’s call.
I know I cannot bring you back
Although I wish that everyday
Your ‘Konkani Sugandh’ some songs remind us
of your feelings towards the family
Oh, how you missed us when you had to be alone in the Middle East
Earning the living, to take care of the family.
