Amanda Nikita Rose Andrade

Thank You

Dear friends and family,

All of us knew Amanda as a cheerful, bubbly, affectionate, and intelligent friendly girl. As her immediate family, we had the privilege and more so, the pleasure, to love, nurture and watch Amanda grow into the capable lady she turned out to be.

Naturally, when God called her home on 30th April, after the doctors (including various specialists) nurses/support staff of reputed hospitals in US, right from 2nd April, tried their level best to save her, God wanted her. We hereby express our thanks to them.

Nevertheless our friends, family, extended family offered support in many forms. We acknowledge with gratitude and convey our sincere thanks to all those lovely people, from across the world especially from Mangalore, Canada & US, who attended her funeral ceremony, offered mass, offered -physical, emotional & moral support, sent condolences via text, cards, emails, sent beautiful flowers, made calls, visits, brought food etc. There were so many, and we have tried our best to personally call and thank, but regret could not reach out to all. To all you lovely people who showed any sort of care & concern in whatever little way possible we say THANK YOU.

Please treat this as our very personal message of thanks to each one of you. Thanks also go out to Daijiworld, Stephen of Funeral Home, and to Fr. Joe, Parish Priest of St. Anne's Church, Fair Lawn, New Jersey US who concelebrated the Mass, and conducted the funeral ceremony in a solemn beautiful manner.

Without any offence to anyone we convey our special thanks to Edward, Judy Vaz & family, Eugene, Tina Colaco & family, Vinod, Selma Menezes & family, Dr. Ashok , Penny D'Souza & family from US and Daryl, Michelle Andrade & family from India, for all the help rendered.

Among the vast friends a close friend (who prefers to remain anonymous) sent us the below for which we are grateful. and express our sincere thanks.

QUOTE: Amanda is today in heaven; an angel amidst the stars and this is what she whispered to all of us as she slept peacefully in the Lord's lap.

Whispers from Heaven

When I left this world without you
I know it made you blue.
Your tears fell so freely,
I watched; I know this is true.

While you were weeping,
days after I passed away-
while all was silent within me,
I saw you kneel to pray.

From this wonderful place called heaven
where all my pain is gone,
I send a gentle breeze to whisper,
“My loved ones, please go on”

The peace that I have found here
goes far beyond compare.
No rain, no clouds, no suffering -
just love from everywhere.

You need not be troubled
just stay close to God in prayer.
Someday we’ll be reunited - my loved ones.
His love surrounds you always,
Everywhere!
