We gratefully acknowledge and thank all those who stood by us during the untimely demise of our loving son Ian Austin Mascarenhas, on Saturday, December 23, 2017, following a tragic road accident.
We thank the Bishop of Mangalore, Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza who visited our residence and blessed the mortal remains, the Vicar General Monsignor Denis Moras Prabhu, the main celebrant who led the galaxy of priests during the Holy Eucharistic celebration on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at St Lawrence Church, Bondel.
We thank the Bishops, Leaders of various political parties, government officials, priests, religious nuns, relatives and family friends and Ian’s friends in particular, who flocked from the world over to be by our side during those tumultuous days.
All those who consoled us personally, over the phone, through messages on our website, other websites, blog spots and social media. Those who offered their prayers and good wishes and continue to remember us in their prayers.
Our dear son Ian Austin lived a fruitful and dignified life of 26 years and we thank Almightily Lord for giving us an opportunity to enjoy his company all these years. During a short span of time he touched the hearts of many through his pleasing personality and we pray Almighty to receive him in his kingdom and grant him eternal rest.
