God saw you getting tired
And when cure, was not to be,
He wrapped His arms around you,
And whispered, "Come to me."
Your beautiful heart stopped beating
Your gentle hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.
Papa, some days we can hear your voice,
and we turn to see your face
But in our turning it seems that your sound has been erased
How little did we know that evening the sorrow that night will bring
We never heard your voice again, you never told anything
We miss you more than anyone knows, your loving smile,
your gentle face
At home and in our hearts, No one can fill your vacant place
With tearful eyes we watched you, we saw you fading away
But we could not do anything and could not make you stay
You have been the best thing that has happened to us,
Giving so much care, so much love and so much joy to us
You will be truly missed, but we know you are in a better place.
Send us your blessings and love with God’s grace.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and perpetual light shine upon him.
