Today we would be celebrating and toasting your birthday

But it is no longer possible as God has taken you away

Every year on this day we buy your favourite flowers

We place them in home and trust that you can see them if God gives you such powers

We swallow the lump in our throat and brush away the tear

And try and think you are in a better place a place free from any fear

Our darling Krithi we miss you so much more than we can say

We have to trust when our time comes God will send you for us on that day
