Dear Boniface (Bona)
God saw you getting tired
And when cure, was not to be,
He wrapped His arms around you,
And whispered, "Come to me."
Your beautiful heart stopped beating
Your gentle hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.
God of mercy you have made death
The gateway to eternal life.
Look with love on Boniface
And make him one with you.
Pardon his sins and give him eternal life.
We ask this through Christ our Lord
