We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for tremendous support and condolences during the loss of our dearly beloved Joachim Saldanha.
 
During the time of our mourning and grief, you came and comforted us with your warm hugs, tears prayers.
 
For those, near and afar unable to physically console us, we felt your prayers, comfort and tears through your Mass intentions, uplifting letters, messages and cards and ongoing consolation via telephone.
 
The wreaths from you filled our home that sad day and reminded us of  God's great beauty. The beautiful flower God gave us and decided to take back for his own.
 
An emptiness that gripped our souls during the time of our mourning and grief, has been clothed with your letters describing some heart-rendering memories of our dear Joachim- his quick wit- so thoroughly unique, his gentle and compassionate nature.   It is these memories that shall forever be etched in our hearts.
 
His loving wife Cynthia, son Vivian, daughters Lovina and Shirly, daughter-in-law Jacintha, sons-in-law Suren and Leslie and grandchildren.

 
First death Anniversary Requiem mass on saturday  8th December 2007  at 11.30 am in St Francis Xavier Church, Bejai, Mangalore
