Daughter of the late Peter and the late Gracie Lewis, Uppoor, wife of Sqn Ldr Richard Paul Monteiro, mother of Rekha / Alroy and Rufus / Juliana, grandmother to Nikita, Isabel, Talia and Kaitlyn passed away on the 5th of July 2014 in Bangalore. Interned the same day at Kalpalli Cemetry after Mass at St Judes Church, R T Nagar.

Resting where no shadows fall,

In peaceful sleep she awaits us all;

God will link the broken chain,

When one by one we meet again.
