3rd Death Anniversary
Percival John Joseph Fernandes
Born: 27 March 1948
Married: 23 January 1974
Passed away: 27 May 2011
Today, three years ago, you went to be with Jesus. Today, we are all keeping as well as we can without you physically present in our lives. We know you would want us to be happy, strong and content, and we try every day. The truth is that, we have been living life every day going through the motions, whilst experiencing the good, mundane and difficult days. There are times when we are genuinely happy and content, just as you would have wanted by living and appreciating everything around us. But, there is never a moment, when you are not remembered. We know that you are present in each of them. You live, when we cook some of your favourite food, when we see people that remind us of you, when one of us makes a joke and then says 'that's what Daddy or Percy would say' or 'imagine what Daddy would have to say about that!' More importantly, we keep you alive by staying positive, like you did, during the hardest of times. Daddy this is how, three years later, we survive without you. ‘Praise God when times are hardest’, is what you always said- and we will, especially when we remember you today. Thank you for the life you lived. It is a memory we never have to worry about losing. We love you so very much. Thank you for keeping us strong. We do it for you!
In ever loving memory of you,
- Hilda, Karen/Arun, Lisa/Melbert, Meagan/Rodney, Nina/Gordon, Mark, Lara, Ben and Laura and all your brothers and sisters, Clarence, Maisie, Allan, Esme and Olivia.
