Tough tempest shattered the joyful golden lace
Brother, unceasingly I wept when you left me alone
Still, not able to imagine the day you had eternally gone

We had danced in the green valley of Moorukavery
Played hours together climbing the mango tree
Life was so good brother, when we were together
Now, I can just remember you in my dreams, forever

When we gathered the roots and leaves of marigold
Tiny butterflies we caught at the golden shore
Bleeding finger you healed with a warm tender touch
Filled my heart to live boldly, without worrying much.

When we cross the tenth year of your eternal journey
I say these words with full of tears and agony
Brother, may you enjoy everlasting peace and love
May the Almighty embrace you in the Heaven above.
