Sitting in a classroom with the smell of chalk ,
We think back to those days when we hated to get up early
Couldn't stand to be there and couldn't wait to get home.
In the beginning we were those children that struggled,
Until the day that special teacher came in-
The first one that believed in us and took time with us—
The first one that helped us find that school was fascinating
And that we were intelligent and had something to give—
The first time we  did not have that blank stare—
The beginning of our  lifelong love for learning—
The beginning of everything.
Farewell to thee, our Beloved teacher.
May you now rest in the Lord.
Until we all meet again.
