Fr Joseph Peter Tauro

Passed away on February 8, 2013

Rev Fr J P Tauro was a holy priest and a true friend of the poor and downtrodden. He continued his good work even through his ill health and he quietly suffered through his illness. As a parish priest of Mukka he helped not only the Catholics, but a number of non catholic families. He has helped to build several houses in Mukka and Suratkal for the poor. Wherever he has been transferred he has helped to build churches and educational institutions in Mukka, Udupi, Pangla, Bendur and Bejai.

Our heartfelt condolences to his family members and nephew, Nery Tauro.

May his soul rest in peace and may God grant him eternal bliss.
