KFC Kannur Lift Anugraha Trophy - 2011
Mangalore, May 27: Shri Anugraha Cricketers, Kulshekar, Mangalore organised Anugraha Trohpy 2011, an under-arm cricket tournament at Shri Krishna grounds, Kulshekara on May 8 and May 15.
A total of 32 teams participated in the tournament. KFC Kannur team emerged winners, defeating Adarsh Bithapade in the finals. The team won 42 kg x 11 murrah rice and Rs 5,000 in cash along with Anugraha trophy.
The runners up team, Adarsh Bithapade won 25 kg x 11 murrah rice, Rs 3,000 in cash along with Anugraha runners-up trophy.
The tournament was inaugurated by local corporator Bhaskar K and enterpreneur Ashok Kumar.
Local businessman Alban Menezes, Prakash, Ashok Kumar, Naveen, Roshan, Sunanda, Neelaksha and others were present during the presentation ceremony and congratulated the winners and participants.
Raju Israel, the main sponsor of the tournament and all the members of Anugraha cricketers were behind the success of this prestigious tournament.
