I am grateful to all those who commented and posted their views on www.daijiworld.com.  Thank you to each one for your good wishes and blessings.  I really feel privileged for all the good wishes from well wishers after the news of Daiji Dubai Purasakar – 2010 was published in www.daijiworld.com during December 2009. 
 
I have never dreamt that my hobby of penning Konkani short stories would take me to such heights.  The Puraskar has indeed inspired me to strive for promoting Konkani.  Meanwhile, I promise to continue to extend my dedicated service to mother tongue Konkani and thus contribute my mite for sustaining Konkani in the future. 
 
Every veteran Konkan has the responsibility to involve new generation in enriching Konkani for posterity.  I remain grateful to Daijiworld stalwarts Dayan, Walter, Melvyn, Harry and Stany.  It’s their united efforts that created the history.  They deserve to be commended for this.  I seek abundant blessing from Almighty on each one of them, besides the support extended by Ronald Colaco, Michael D’Souza, Rohan Monteiro, Joseph Mathias and many others. 
 
I was moved by the speech of Ronald Colaco, during the conferring of Daiji Dubai Puraskar 2010, who urged every Konkan to do his / her yeomen service for sustaining Konkani language and its distinct culture, especially during their lifetime.  The Award has rekindled my conscience, to promote Konkani with the view of returning the debt of Konkani community.
 
Hope your wishes and blessings will take Konkani to greater heights and please keep in touch.
