John Anthony Fernandes (73), husband of Loretta, father of Sunil, Sundeep and Sunjay, father-in-law of Sally, grandfather of Andrew, brother of Nelson, passed away on January 23, 2018.

Funeral Mass at 3:30 pm on Friday, January 26 in St Anthony's Friary Church, Hosur Road, Bangalore, followed by burial at St Patrick's Cemetery, Hosur Road, Bangalore.

Dear Loretta and children, we are deeply saddened by the sudden demise of our good friend John. His association and active involvement as a most willing and responsible member of MEA are fresh in our minds. We truly truly lost the most invaluable Gem which never could be found physically but only through everlasting impression he created in our thoughts and minds.
May God give you the strength to bear the irreparable lose of your dear Husband and father of three loving boy's.
May his soul rest in peace in the in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am very sad to hear about the sudden death of John Fernandes. I first met him in 1972, in
saudi Arabia when he was working for SAFCO, in Dammam. John was a soft spoken, kind hearted and straight forward person. His sudden death is a great loss to his family. While I pray for the repose of his soul, I pray to almighty to grant his family enough strength to bear this loss.
