Charles Ernest Rodrigues (86), Udupi, Kallianpur, son of the late Anselm and Celestine Rodrigues, husband Olga Rodrigues, father of Nirmala / the late Sylvester, Anita / Nitesh, Anil / Preethi, Reena / Preetham, grandfather of Ryan / Rochell , Rhea/ Arjun, Darren , Raina, Ved Luca, Zac and Zoe, great grand father of Akash and Kaira, brother of Helen, Regie, Renie and Owen, passed away on Saturday January 20, 2018.

Funeral cortege leaves the residence ‘Cherish’, V P Nagar, Opp. Laxmindra Nagar Bus Stop, Manipal for Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur on Wednesday January 24, at 3.00 pm. Mass at 4.00 pm.

He was a very honest, technically skilled and down-to-earth person and one of his great virtues was that of simplicity.

We feel one with you in your grief & sorrow in losing your dearest & fondest Dad Charles. As we condole your entire family and dear n near ones, we assure of our prayers for the repose of Charles' soul. I knew Charles well and was acquainted with him while in Dubai but more intimately in Manipal while I was on a long break. I appreciate his bountiful help in editing a video shoot, I shot as an amateur. His sound technical knowledge and know how, skill and more than all his patience can't be forgotten but would be cherished. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
