A very shocking news for us to hear that Joyce D'Souza is no more. she was my ex colleague in Defence food research Lab. Mysore. She left the job after her marriage. we were family friends too. We were all in the Konkani Christian Association (R.) Mysore. She was the joint secretary for the first committee in 1981-82. She was so loving, so caring and so kind. Very soft spoken and always a smile on her face. Memories of her smile, her talk, her laugh, are deep down in our hearts which we will never let go.
May the good earth be soft under you when you rest upon it. May the good earth rest easy over you when you lie under it and the good earth rest so lightly over you that your soul may be out from under it quickly and up and off and be on its way to God.
We pray to you O Lord to grant Joyce forgiveness of sins and we believe that she is with you in heaven and also believe that by death we posses Christ. O Lord give courage and strength to her husband, children and her family members. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace. Amen
