Sr Marie Therese (69), member of Hubli Province of the Ursuline Franciscan Congregation, passed away on November 28, 2016 at Shalom, Derlakatte, Mangalore.

She hails from Padukad, Trichur and is the third child of the late Joseph Kattuman and the late Anna Joseph, sister of Sr Cicily Joseph SCC and Sr Anet Joseph SCC, Valsa Devassy, Elsy Ittieo and Jose.

Mortal remains will be brought to Holy Rosary Convent, Jeppu, Mangalore at 7.30 am on Tuesday, November 29. Funeral Mass at 9.30 am followed by burial at Rosario Cathedral cemetery, Jeppu, Mangalore.

I offer my sincere, hearty condlolences to the Franciscane religious Family who have lost in Sr. Marie Therese their humble and dedicated sister! May her soul rest in peace. I knew her since many years, and was a personal friend of mine. I was shocked to hear that she was very seriouly ill. She was of a very cheerful nature and even from her sick bed she used to smile, laugh and accepted her illness with great heart, surrendering herself to God's Will. !! I really miss her a lot !!
