Prashant Moras (35), son of Thomas and Mariette Moras, and husband of Diljyoti (nee D'Cunha of Saripalla, Kulshekar), passed away in a drowning tragedy in Bhadra river near Magundi (Chikmagalur district) at 5 pm on Tuesday, January 10.
Funeral service will be held in Yelmudy cemetery chapel at 4 pm on Wednesday, January 11.
Prashant and his wife, both employed in Dubai, had come down on holidays and were on a picnic at Magundi. Prior to going abroad on employment, he ran an upholstery shop in Darbe, Puttur which had been founded by his father, Thomas Moras. He is said to have slipped while bathing in Bhadra river.
Close sources said that last Sunday (January 8) marked their second wedding anniversary.
